A blue linen tablecloth with red and pink stitching. Inspired by a sample patch my grandmother made, on which she tried out all the stitches on her sewing machine. I’ve always kept this patch because I thought it looked so lovely. After it had been hanging in my studio for years, I came up with the idea for these tablecloths. They feature all sorts of stitches from my sewing machine, which I’ve arranged at random. It’s a lot of work, but the result makes me very happy!
Every tablecloth is unique, so there’s only one of each.
